PG&E has started Phase 2 of the Underground Project.

PG&E Phase 2 Update
- PG&E is working on Grizzly Circle and Pine Mountain Drive. Please follow the detour signs to ensure continued traffic flow.
- The civil portion of the project is done for now. The electrical team is getting all the underground lines in place.
- The transformer on the corner of Tannahill and Pine Mountain Drive is being relocated.
- PG&E has wrapped up setting poles on Pine Mountain Drive and Elder Lane.
- PG&E may need to work on a Sunday to reach target completion date, but as of 12/3 it is not a needed.
- They are on track to completion by the end of December.
- Once the project is complete there will be a power outage to transition to the new underground electrical. Effected parties will receive a notice in the mail prior to this power outage (approximately 2 hours).

PG&E Power Line Undergrounding Project – Pine Mountain Lake
PG&E is undergrounding several miles of powerlines in Pine Mountain Lake in an effort to reduce the number of power outages in our area. The project timeline for 2025 is from April 21, 2025 to July 1, 2025. Members can expect one-lane traffic control and temporary delays on Elder Lane and Pine Mountain Drive in 2025.
PG&E will be providing weekly project construction location schedules.

Here is the update for this week.
- The Civil team is currently working on Pine Mountain Drive between Mills and Casaretto.
- The team is working on Pine Mountain Drive Monday through Saturday from 7 am until 7 pm until November 1st.
- There is one lane traffic control.
- The wait time for drivers is anticipated to be 10-15 mins per stop.
- PG&E will reach out to property owners to gain right of entry (ROE) to place boxes during this phase of the project.
