Important Meeting about a Community Resilience Center in Groveland
Tuesday October 17th 6 to 8pm in Groveland Community Hall.
Tuolumne County, in partnership with the State of California, applied for and was awarded a Natural Disaster Resiliency Competition (NDRC) grant funding of nearly $70 million as a result of impacts to our community from the Rim Fire.
The County has been given the opportunity to lead the effort in designing and building one or two Community Resilience Centers, one in Groveland and/or Tuolumne County. We are seeking the public’s input on this project.
Please plan on joining us for a meeting with County staff and Lionakis, Project Architects, on October 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Groveland Community Hall.
Pine Mountain Lake is proud to serve on the Operational Stakeholders Advisory Committee with Director Turski participating in these meetings. We are also working with other organizations in Groveland area and throughout Tuolumne County.
Full NDRC project details can be found at the Tuolumne County website
