All dogs 4 months or older require licensing. Bring proof of current Rabies Vaccine.
When mailing fees please use the following address. If you want the license mailed back to you, please be sure to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Otherwise it will be held for you to pick up.

Tuolumne County Animal Control (TCAC) 6.04.280 Control of dogs:
A. Every owner of a dog shall keep it exclusively upon his/her own premises; provided, however, that such dog may be off such premises if it is under the control of a competent person and restrained by a leash.
DOG LICENSING– Pine Mountain Lake
All Pine Mountain Lake resident dog owners are required to have a Tuolumne County dog license and a PML dog tag.
All dog owners must comply with the PML licensing program in order to reduce stray dog related problems.
Bring your dogs current Tuolumne County License to Main Gate. PML license/tag is free.
Unlicensed Stray dog(s)
If an unlicensed stray dog(s) is picked up by Security:
* Security will notify Tuolumne County Animal Control (TCAC) in writing of an unlicensed dog.
* Security will then attempt to notify the owner (if known) by telephone.
*A kenneling fee, per dog, per day, will be assessed to the dog’s owner for the first and any subsequent impound occurrences, in accordance with the current fee schedule. A written notice will also be sent to the dog owner.

* The dog(s) will be turned over to TCAC immediately for impound on the third occurrence.
* The dog(s) will be released to TCAC if not retrieved by the owner within 24 hours (there is a fee to retrieve each dog picked up by TCAC).
If a TCAC or other valid county and PML licensed dog(s) is picked up by Security:
* Security will attempt to notify the owner.
* The dog(s) will be turned over to TCAC immediately on the third occurrence.
* The dog(s) will be released to TCAC if not retrieved by the owner within 24 hours (there is a fee to retrieve each dog picked up by TCAC).
