Saturday, July 3rd “Boat Parade”
Don’t miss this highlight of the summer! Decorate your boat to honor Independence Day or any famous TV show. Sign-up at the Marina office and receive your entry number. There is no charge to enter the parade. The parade kicks off at 6:00 pm prior to the fireworks display. Spectators can watch the parade from the Marina, Lake Lodge or Fisherman's Cove. Trophies are awarded for the best decorated boats. Boats of all types are welcome! Call (209) 962-6336 for additional information.
Sunday, July 11, "Lake Swim"
Friends of the Lake presents the annual “Lake Swim” with an open lake swim from Dunn Court to the Marina at 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 11. You can race or just swim for fun; proficient swimmers only. All swimmers will register and sign a liability waiver at Dunn Court at 2:30 pm. Watch the PML News and mailbox flyers for details. It will start at Dunn Court and finish at the Marina, a distance of approximately 0.3 mile.
Sunday, August 8 "Music at the Marina"
Friends of the Lake hosts the “Music at the Marina” at 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 8. The evening starts with a potluck dinner at the west end of the Marina beach. Popular folk singers Chris Miller and Lori Brandon will entertain from 6:00-8:00 pm. Both Chris and Lori are former New Christie Minstrels and their music is a wonderful mixture of favorite folk songs and old-time rock and roll. Come sing-a-long and enjoy a warm summer evening on the Marina lawn. No charge, open to all. Bring your place setting and a dish to share.
 Sunday, Sept. 12 "Scavenger Hunt on the Lake"
4:00 pm potluck dinner at the Marina followed by a hilarious scavenger hunt around the lake by boat.
