Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course, designed by William F. Bell, has been rated "4-1/2 stars Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest magazine and is open for play year-round. The challenging 18-hole championship course is available for tournaments and public play and is always in excellent condition. Our 18-hole, 6,382 yard, par 70 course offers everything a golfer, beginner or expert, could want from a round of golf: a classic park-like setting, a fair but challenging layout and enough trees to make you wish you had a chainsaw as your 14th club!
Pine Mountain Lake, at 2,800 feet, is above the smog and fog. We have over 300 sunny days each year. Winter daytime temps average in the 60's and summer daytime temps average in the 80's. Spring and fall temps are usually in the 70's. Winter snows are light, allowing us to enjoy the snow's beauty without the bother. Roads are open year round. You'll enjoy the beautiful breath-taking views of the majestic mountain peaks of Yosemite as it winds through picturesque oaks and pines.
Experts and novices alike appreciate our driving range in a true golf course setting. Golf lessons, clinics, locker storage, club rentals, club storage, golf carts, pull carts...We have it all!

Shotgun Season is upon us!
Shotguns start on November 9th at 11 am. Call-in for slots in the shotguns is 8 am starting November 1st.
“The term "shotgun start" comes from the first known use of such a starting format…Walla Walla (Wash.) Country Club head pro Jim Russell fired off a shotgun to sound the start of play to golfers waiting on tees around the course at a tournament in May 1956.”

TEE TIME RESERVATIONS
We take Tee Time Reservations starting at 8 am January 1st thru April 4th; starting at 7 am April 5th thru November 7th.
PROPERTY OWNERS can reserve tee times up to 14 days in advance, beginning at 7 am, April 6 through November 8th. Tee time reservations on major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day) are taken for all days of the weekend 14 days in advance. Reservations will be limited to one (1) tee time per day during major holiday weekends. Property owners may request one (1) additional tee time 10 days in advance.
GUESTS In order to obtain guest rates the reservation must be made by a property owner either in person or by phone. Property owners may make tee times for their guests two (2) weeks in advance. Renters are not Guests and will be charged Public Golf rates.
PUBLIC can make reservations 10 days in advance, beginning at 7 am, April 6 through November 8th..
DRESS CODE - No Blue Jeans or Blue Jean shorts are allowed on the Golf Course for players or riders.
MEN Collared shirts are required, no blue jeans or blue jean shorts, swim trunks or sweatpants.
WOMEN T-Shirts are allowed. Sleeveless blouses must have 4" straps. No tank tops or spaghetti strap tops; no blue jeans, blue jean shorts, short shorts or swim suits.
DRIVING RANGE
Tokens for the ball machine are available at the PML Golf Pro Shop or the Snack Shack. Tokens are $3.00 each or 4 for $10. One token = 25-30 balls. Blue Jeans and T-Shirts are allowed while using the driving range.

Junior Golf Clinics - 2 hours per day

Beginning and Intermediate clinics for children ages 7-17. $30 per child for each 3 day clinic (Maximum of $60 per family per clinic)
All Beginning golfers meet at the driving range at 8:45 am for check-in. Clinic runs from 9 am - 10:30 am each day. Beginning golfers are those with minimal golf experience.
All Intermediate golfers meet at the driving range at 10:45 am for check-in. Clinic runs from 11 am - 12:30 pm each day. Intermediate golfers are those who can demonstrate proper grip, stance, posture, follow through, and make consistent ball contact.

There’s always a great selection of clubs, equipment and fine men’s and ladies’ apparel including PML logo shirts, tee’s, sweats, caps, visors and sweaters. All major credit cards are accepted and gift certificates are available.
Once again the Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course received a 4.5 star rating out of 5 for the Golf Digest - Places to Play. This rating is based on reader comments to Golf Digest. This year's Best Places to Play rated more than 4000 courses in North America and the Islands. The courses were evaluated by approximately 20,000 Golf Digest readers. As always the courses were rated on the overall golf experience, value for the money, standard of service, conditioning of the course and normal pace of play for 18 holes. Enjoy the course!
